  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Method
 

  1. Combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, grated ginger, red pepper flakes, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Whisk until completely smooth and emulsified, ensuring all ingredients blend together seamlessly.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F), and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking. Allow the grill to heat for at least 5 minutes before adding your salmon fillets.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side up on the hot grill grates, then brush generously with your honey garlic glaze. Cook for 5 minutes without moving the fillets, allowing the sticky honey garlic grilled salmon to develop a beautiful caramelized crust.
  4. Flip the fillets carefully skin-side down, then brush the cooked side with additional glaze. Continue grilling for another 4-5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F and the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
